ZillionTV Product offered is not as advertised Sunnyvale, California

The service does not work as advertised.  ZillionTV states the following:

"You choose how to watch

With the ZillionTV™ Service, you make all the choices — right down to the ads. Want totally free programming? You found the right place. Customize the categories of ads you want to watch, and those are what you’ll see. Don’t want to see any ads at all? We can make that happen too with our “pay as you go” option. ZillionTV gives you total control."


With this statement you would think that you can watch ANYTHING free if you watch the commercials.  This is NOT the case.  There are very very few shows/movies that you can watch for free.  Pretty much anything you would really want to watch, you will have to "pay as you go".  Which can get very expensive at $1.99/TV Show.

I really wish they would be more upfront about what is free or not free.


Other notes: 

When I requested, they immediately RMA'd my player and even sent me a UPS label for a refund.  So far they have honored their return policy.

I did (and still do) have high hopes for this service, but its going to have to offer a completely free (with commercials) or a subscription service to be a viable option.  And the player itself is pretty neat.
