Charter Fraudlent sales practices Beloit Wisconsin

Charter has been engaged in fraudulent sales practices in our area for quite some time. Nothing is ever done about it. The sales person contacts you in person at home, cold canvass, he wasn't requested. He tells you he will give you a year of charter telephone for a price equal to or less than your current Charter bill. He writes that price on the paper he gives you. He also tells you all installation fees are waived.

In my case the price was $185 close to my bill before the telephone. When I got my next bill the monthly payment was over $220. I've called numerous times to complain and got no where. I know many folks who got the same treatment. How can a company operate in this manner? It's beyond me.
