Comcast cable is a rip off. They charge far too much and then service is always going out. I am Deaf and disabled and Comcast was told this repeatedly. yet when I was forced to moved and had to transfer comcast service they went all wrong. First the tech. that was supposed to hook me up at new home, claimed he had the wrong address and screamed at me very rudely (I am deaf but could still hear him enough with my hearing aid in) then proceeded to leave.
This left me i for a 3 week week battle in which I drove to the office over and over, tried internet customer service, even tried to telephone several time to get the situation resolved. Each anbd every single time I contacted someone at comcast, I was treated horribly and not a single person seemed to know what was going on with my account nor what to do. I was given different account numbers, dates, prices of service, explanations,...you name it, I got it.
I was treated as if all this was my fault which it was not as the e initial address given was indeed correct. To top it off, after I was finally hooked up after a 3 week battle on MY part, NOT comcast I was charged all wrong. Comcast is the absolute worse company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is Horrible, the service is extremely unreliable and they treat the disabled even worse. The entire ordeal cost me a huge amount of money, time, and suffering.
As a deaf woman, I was forced to live without any outside communication (landline and computer) for 3 weeks thanks to comcast. I can not use a cell phone so all I can say is it is a really good thing nothing happened to me in those 3 weeks or I would oWN comcast. Final word of advice. If you have the option of anyone but comcast for your services.....go with anyone but comcast

- I actually don't doubt that you have had some customer service issues with them. But what proof do you have that you were treated worse because you were disabled? It just seems that there might be some exaggeration in this report to give you a little more sympathy. Which can make one wonder what else may be exaggerated.
How exactly did they get the "wrong" address. What is confusing is that if the tech had the wrong address how exactly was he able to scream at you and then leave? Where exactly did he leave from?
Also it seems a bit odd that you are able to use a Landline phone, you are able to hear with the assistance of a hearing aid, you are able to use a computer, you are able to drive. Yet you can't use a Cell Phone.
