Directv charged me early cancellation fee for extended contract Nationwide

I got my service for directv back in 2006. We then upgraded back in 2007 for a HD receiver. Last year in Oct 2008 we moved to a new location. At which time we had a additional receiver added to our house. When the guy came to the house he didn't say anything about us starting a new contract. I called Directv today to cancel my service. They said that we have a early cancellation fee since are contract started when we added the new receiver. They said they had sent out a letter informing us of this but when the lady stating saying my address I realized the installer had put the wrong address. I told the lady and she said that it was are responsibility to know there policy. She then informed me that they will charge my credit card for the fees. I told her that was for a one time processing fee but apparently in fine print according to them they keep them on file to be used as needed.

In your state and the state where DirecTV's corporate office is located. DirecTV has a bad habit of doing anything to collect that extra dollar even if they are not entitled to do so.
