It appears that both fell in the well orchestrated Dishnetwork scam. By reading your story, I can perfectly see the similarities. I never saw, signed or got a copy of the contract. After seven months of service, I noticed that Dishnetwork was systematically increasing the autopay on my credit card. I started calling to dishnework to no avail, and they kept referring to the "contract" at that point I questioned them to send me a copy of the contract. After 3 weeks of waiting, a copy of the contract finally arrived. I literally jump to the roof, when I noticed that someone had forged my signature, and disregard the criminal law by committing fraud (misdemeanor-felony) which is punishable by law with up to 3 years in jail. I have talked to
eric.holland@dishnetwork.com,
chandra.rusk@dishnetwork.com, supposely from the Executive Resolution Team (720) 514-8555 x71128 and
terissa@bigdogsatellite.com. As you can imagine, they are passing the bucket and no one wants to take responsibility by making amends or stop the fraud that is going on. They stated that since I signed out thru a retailer (Big Dog Satellite) they want the latter to correct the error and viceversa.
