Time Warner Cable Southwest Ohio Time Warner is greedy and have no values or compassion Springfield Ohio

I was a paying customer to Time Warner Cable and was working 3rd shift. One day I came home from work to find that my apartment had been broken into and that the burglars had stolen everything I have, including the equipment Time Warner was leasing me.

I got in contact with them and they told me to bring a copy of the police report to them and everything will be taken care of. After doing so, I was told that I am responsible for the equipment and owe them $489USD. Now, I don't know if you know what it feels like to have your apartment broken into, but you feel violated and are scared to leave the house. I am literally paranoid to even go to work.

I don't feel like I should be held responsible for the equipment. I had to replace everything I own and naturally, their equipment was not very high on my list. Time Warner customer service has been completely rude and inconsiderate of my situation. They have since sent this to a collection agency and it is ruining my credit.

I will not pay this and I didn't ask to have someone come and steal their equipment. They have no empathy for me. I know Time Warner Cable has billions of dollars. I live week to week and cannot afford $489, especially after being burglarized and replacing everything including clothes, shoes, etc.

For all I know the box and modem have been recovered and they still want their money. Those boxes can't be used anywhere, but where it is authorized for service. The drug dealer who got this has probably moved out and left it behind and it has been turned in, for all I know.

What ever happened to honesty and values. It has been overcome by lies and greed, especially by the ones that already have money.
