CambridgeWorld offered photographic equipment on its website at prices well below typical market. I "bought" about $270 in equipment and paid via credit card.

The next day they called to say that they have the equipment in stock but that they can't sell it to me at the agreed price due to the U.S. Dollar falling against the Euro. They required a price increase of about $65, which brought the price up to or above the prices of other online sellers.

This is a breach of contract as I agreed to buy the items at the offered price and they refused to ship it at that price.

I have no doubt that this is their usual operating method on most or all of their sales, and since they had no intention of selling the equipment at the website price, it is fraud - a form of "bait and switch."
