Camera Giants - 86th St. Photo False Advertising, Never received product as promised New York New York

I placed an order with Camera Giants, and a day or two later received an e-mail to call and confirm my order. Shipment at purchase was stated in 1-2 days. When I called to confirm, I was told the camera I ordered was out of stock, and would be shipped in 1-2 weeks. Right away the man asked if I wanted to cancel my order, which seemed a little odd, but I said I would wait for shipment.

I checked back today, which was 3 weeks, and no details were listed about my order in my account history, only the word "backordered." When I checked the site, it said the camera was in stock, but I noticed it was now $199, not $124.95, the amount when I ordered.

I googled Camera Giants, and there are NUMEROUS complaints of scams, fraud, bait and switch, etc, and they are unaccredited by the BBB. I tried calling the customer service line, and surprise, I could not get through. I cancelled my order on-line, and received no confirmation, so I also cancelled my credit card because I do not trust this site with my credit info. Lesson learned, research a site before placing an order. I also filed a report with the BBB in NY, regarding this matter.
