Ok, so I placed an order for a Fuji FinePix A205 Digital Camera online through capitalcamera.com. I was directed to this site by pricegrabber.com since they had the lowest price. I checked it out and it said FREE Ground Shipping.

The price was $103 and so was the total at the checkout. I then printed my receipt and that was that. Three days later, today, I get a call from a sales rep of that company offering batteries and accessories kindly. After I said "No Thanks" about 5 times, he then said that since I'm not ordering accessories, they would have to charge $18 shipping.

WHAT?? So, I said that it couldn't be because the shipping is free according to the website and my receipt. He then said that that was only for customers who purchased accessories through the call. So I refused to buy that and he put me on hold for about 3 minutes while he spoke to his manager.

He got back on the line and offered a package deal for the accessories and all I had to pay was the shipping. I said that I didn't want to and if it wasn't going to be $103 as it reads on my receipt, to cancel the order. Then he said, " Well, we bent over backwards for you and if you had any principles you would see that this is a good deal".

I still didn't lose my cool and just told him that I did have principles and that this company is deceitful and I cancelled my order ( yeah, I might sound like a dork b/c I didn't say "Oh, I don't have principles? Sounds like you don't have any balls" or something rude like that, but come on, Rudeness is not the answer,though my boyfriend who was sitting next to me when this happened thinks otherwise).

Anyway, after the call was done, I logged on and checked out the site www.capitalcamera.com and nowhere did I find anything regarding the shipping that if I didn't purchase accessories I would be charged $18 for shipping. LIARS! They actually say that they will call in 2-3 days to verify the credit card info or if they don't get in touch with the customer, they would cancel the order.

That right there is also wrong, since the verification takes place before the order is even completed and processed. So, please do not order from here unless you plan to order their mandatory accessories from an idiotic and rude sales rep. Thanks.
