Certifieddigital Scam, Bait and Switch, illegal non-disclosure of fees Internet

CertifiedDigital.com is a scam.

On 1/10, I found CertifiedDigital.com through nextag. I purchased a Canon T3 DSLR camera. I ordered the camera for $380. They advertised "Free Shipping". Two days later I received a call from a sales agent to "confirm" my order. After I declined his offers of the extra battery and memory card, he told me that my "grand total" is $475. When I asked him why it was so much, he said there was a mandatory insurance that I had to pay which was not disclosed anywhere at the time of my purchase. It's not even in their "Terms and Conditions".

It's too late to give them a bad review because they had me complete a review immediately after my purchase, offering me a free tripod, cleaning kit and screen protector with my survey. It clearly states on the order page "Review our ordering process and get a free tripod, cleaning kit, and screen protector!! Thank you for shopping at CertifiedDigital.com. Your feedback is very important to us. After you hit the complete order button, you will see a popup to review our site. Write something about us and get some freebies to use with your new purchase. Thanks, and Enjoy!"

They did not disclose the mandatory insurance at the time of my purchase, which is illegal.

I ended up buying the camera at Costco for less than their advertised prices.
