Royal Camera Royal Camera rude unethical bait and switch tactic New York

Beware of this campany's bait and switch tactics! I ordered the Canon EOS 20D camera from their website for $769 as shown in the following link.

There was no mention that this camera was the “international” model. Their representative (the company owner!) indicated on the phone that I needed the $1299 US model to get the battery, cables and 1-year manufacturer's US warranty. When viewing the Canon digital camera section of their web site there is no mention at the following link of the $1299 US model shown:

I managed to call on a Sunday and talk to their CEO, Mr. Steven Morgan (at least that is what he indicated his name was on the phone) who also answers the phone. He runs the unethical bait and switch scam. He was rude on the phone. When I informed him that his web site did not list the $1299 camera he informed me that I did not know how to navigate his web site. He was unwilling to provide me with the http: address of the $1299 model. It also does not show up when searching his site.

He could change the order on the phone but was unwilling to cancel the order. He indicated that I would have to call his customer service department back on Monday if I wanted to cancel the order.

Everyone would be better served by staying away from this company.
