Tim Kinder, Amazon.com Ripped off, fraud, theft, by Tim Kinder for Amazon.com sale of a Canon DSLR Lens Richmond California

On 5/12/08, Tim Kinder of Richmond, CA or adjacent purchased a 60mm Canon camera lens from me on amazon.com. He claimed that he never received the lens. I tracked it through UPS & it was delivered & signed for by a person named Darlene.

Tim Kinder said that he didn't receive the lens & notified amazon.com. Unknowingly to me a 5 day period for me to respond to this had passed, so he was refunded $369.00 & had the lens. The "refund" took place in August 2008. UPS had confirmed the delivery & even did an investigation, found Kinder, who admitted to receiving the item.

I emailed Tim Kinder several times & asked him to pay for the lens or send it back to me. He never responded to my emails.

I tried to obtain an appeal from amazon.com since I had evidence of the fraud/theft that had taken place. They don't do appeals, even with evidence & stuck by their 5 day rule & didn't care that I was ripped off & that other people might be swindled by this guy.

That was a lot of money for me to lose & it certainly makes selling items on amazon.com not secure for the seller. The buyer has more rights! Amazon just believed him & too bad for me even though I had proof. Amazon should re-think & change their policy since it's unfair :-(
