Similar to the other report. I was mislead in believing that this was a one-year membership. I did not use the membership at all and decided that I didn't want to renew. When I received the $99.00 bill, I emailed and called the office as to my desires with no response. I also mailed back the bill and with a "please cancel" note and thought the matter was finished. Now, 2 months later, I receive a notice from a collection agency that says I owe $239.16. I did not sign anything, but the collection agency says I am liable because of on-line acceptance.

I have contacted Timber Lodge RV Resort and they are unable to find a membership file for any individual named Jack in Las Cruces, New Mexico. They check their computer files for any member named Jack or perhaps John in area code 505 or 575. No record exsists. More information is required to properly respond to this complaint.

New Mexico is where they sent the mail, but when I joined I lived in Midvale, UT. The lack of being able to locate me in their office, is further proof of their inability to run a reputable company
