Five Star Associates has George Myers writing me letters saying my credit is bad and if I don't pay the amount he wants my mortage interest will go up. My husband just died recently and he played on that to try to get money from me.I no longer have my RV or can drive one as I am disabled. This George guy even played on weak moments by telling a sob story that his dad recently died also . Long Beach Mississippi

I have been getting phone calls and letters from Five Star Associates, Inc. telling me I have to pay big bucks to get out a contract my husband try to get out of before he died. He died 3 months ago and as of now just getting back on my feet. A representive of their company, pre litigation department said I could get out of the contract of I pay.

When I explained that my husband sent letters getting out of the contract we never heard again. How surprized I was to receive a letter telling me I had ten days to respond. He threaten me in a way that my credit cards interest rate will double which they are doing any way. I told him I didn't have credit cards he said my morgage interest would go up which I do believe is illegal.

He tried to get to my passion and weakness of my loss by telling me is dad who he was supposing very close too had just died also. He told me all this with no emotion. Mean while I was almost in tears. After I hung up I started thinking what if this was a scam. I tried looking up his phone number and city on the interent and the area code does not match the city.

I feel this has happened to other widows. How do they get all the information about our lives? After I thought about the conversation I talked to my son whom I now have to live with because I am disabled, and he fills that they are just trying to get money from peoples who are either to old to understand or in the greving process. Come five star why not go after people who want your camp ground not ones who can't drive the car more then fives miles at a time.

I am calling Coast to Coast, which have already dropped them from their books , and calling Good Sam Club to report this campground and company.
If anyone else has trouble with this company get a Lawyer.
