I reserved a campsite and canoe rental from the buisness. I needed to cancel prior to the reservation. The cancellation policy was not explained prior to the transaction but in an e-mail after the transaction. I needed to cancel due to circumstances beyond my control prior to the reservation. i was able to cancel but they kept all of my money. I understand a fee, but not disclosing the cancelaation policy prior to the transaction and then keeping all of the money is stealing. Do not let this happen to you. There are other places to stay in the vicinity.

The following is from their website under "Terms"..

AUTHOR: Ken - Greeley (USA)

"CANCELLATIONS: Made four (4) weeks prior to your arrival will receive a full refund, less a $15 service charge. There are no refunds if cancellation is made within (4) weeks of arrival.
REFUNDS: Will not be issued due to inclement weather or no-shows."

Sorry you lost your money and hope the issue causing it has been resolved.

You might try to see if they will let you re-schedule, not likely, but a possibility.
