I bought a 03 Nissan Altima from my local used car dealership. When I was signing the paperwork I got offered a vehicle service plan. The finance manager was like it covers anything that could happen to the car its a great deal. I said, "Ok just give me some time to look it over." He said what is there to look over and eventally got me sold.

So fast forward two weeks. I was leaving to go to work and slip in oil that is surrounding my car. The gasket on the oil pan had broke. I called warrantech the contract admin, and they said the gasket is normal wear and tear and not covered.

I then called the dealership in rage and they took care of it and no cost to me.

Fast forward 5 months. I was looking over the contract to see what it actually covered and was calling the plan admin. It was an major pain just to speak to anyone. I was testing them on what is on there contract and things that were said to be covered are not.

I then ask how to cancel the contract and they say I have to go to the dealership. I do and the dealer say you have to go through warrantech. No one knows what to do it is such a scam! I read the contract and it says if you have a loan on the car you have to go to the bank to cancel not the dealership or warrantech. No one knows anything.

Im still trying to get the refund of the 2000.00 I paid for it. I'm just glad I read the reports on this site to learn everything. Warrantech has a F with the BBB.
