There is not much detail as to the type of listing. That is, is this an Inquiry, Regular Loan in good standing, or a collection account.
If it is an Inquiry there are two types a Hard(where you apply for credit) and Soft(where they are using it for marketing purposes). A Soft inquiry that has zero effect on your credit score and no other company will ever see them. Unlike Hard Inquiries companies do not need your permission because you are not initiating the request for credit. They also do not get a full credit report, but only some key information such as Address and general account information(how many accounts, how long, types of accounts). If you want to stop this in the future you can go to the Official site to "opt-out" of ALL of these soft inquiries.

If it is a Hard Inquiry and you didn't put in an application you can dispute it with the Credit Reporting Agencies to have it removed. They should remove it but it could indicate other problems such as Identity Theft.
If it is a Loan Listing or Collection Account you need to put in a Dispute with the CRA's first. If they say that it remains you need to contact the company listed to find out why they say you have an account. Based on what they say would determine what you need to do next.
If you suspect Identity Theft the next stop for you needs to be your local police station to file out a Identity Theft Report. Then you need to contact any of the CRA's and put in an extended Fraud Alert. This will require creditors to take extra steps to verify that it is actually you who is applying for credit under your name. This extended alert is free. So stay away from anyone who trys to charge you, by going directly to the CRA.
