After four years of being ripped off by this company with ridiculously high interest rates I lost my job. My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer, therefore we are trying to get by on social security. Obviously, my payments have fallen behind. These people call continuesly. If you tell them when you can make a payment they tell its not good enough and has to be "today" even when you are only asking for a few days. My payment due date is on the first, which I have requested be changed numerous times as social security checks are not issued until the third and they refuse. However, the real problem is in the fact that they repeatingly call and harrass my daughter in law after being told not to call her. I had her call one time and make one payment, so they would stop harrassing me for a few days when my husband was sick and now they will not stop calling her. They scared her into giving HER account information "to secure the vehicle from being repossed" She later called back and told them to remove the hold and not to withdraw money and they tried to anyway. There was no money to be taken so they sent me a letter stating MY check had returned NSF and tacked on a bunch a late/return fees! I now owe December, and January just came due on the first, I can make the December payment next week, and they are already calling both her and I threating repossession (37 days late)! Verifying the addrclaimed I couldn't afford the car and it was in my best interest to turn it over to them!" ess, a restricted number called my daughter in law stating they had an order to tow my car, of course she thought I had been in an accident! It never ends! I love my car but am seriously considering trading it in at a loss just to not have to deal with them. One rep had the nerve to tell me that "if my husband was really as sick as I claimed he was then I couldn't afford the car and should just turn it over to them!"
