Credit Acceptance Corporation didn't report my payments to credit companies for a year Southfield Michigan

I bought a car and finaced it through CAC in February of 2008. I have previous credit problems so CAC was really all I could get. I was really determined to pay everything on time and pay full amount due every month, which i did and still do, to improve my credit. I went to rent a house in February of 2009 and they ran a credit check and told me my credit score was even lower than it had been before I bought my car. They said I had no record from CAC on there and nothing showing I ever bought a car or had anything financed.

I was livid, so I got my yearly free credit report and sure enough, nothing from CAC at all! I had been making payments on time and actually more than the monthy payment due for a year and not one of those had been reported. So I called one of their lovely reps and was told, "yes ma'am we report everything on the 15th of every month and yours has been reported every month". I was also told this by a "supervisor" too that day.

I waited a month to see what would happen then I ran my credit again, and they had reported my payment that month for the first time in 13 months. I disputed this the legal way but is has not gotten far and needless to say my credit still sucks even after making better than great payment for a year and half now thanks to CAC. Thanks!! If i could get out of this deal with them believe me I would.... I hate CAC!!
