My husband and myselfself boght a vehicle and drive was the finance companytha we were given. Everything was fine at first until we had a death in the family.

My husbands mother passed away april 30,2004 the next day drive called my husband told them to call back in a few days due to the fact that his mother passed away just s few hours before they called. Again later they called this time I answered the phone and told the not to call again and that the need to have some compassion and let us mourn in peace for a few days. But you know the calls kept coming so finally we shut our phone off to stop the harrassment cause nothing else was working.

They finally told us our vehicle was being repoed. Then they told us when we called them to let them know we werein the process of getting a loan to pay off the truck that they had our truck. My husband told them that they didn't have our truck. She said they did and that it wasn't sitting in our driveway. My husband told them that it was and that they had someone elses truck. They didn't even know what truck we had.

In another conversation with them we asked for the payoff amount and they told us that they couldn't give it to us unless we made a payment first. We refused to make a payment and then we were asked if we were refusing to pay for the truck, we replied no we just need the payoff amount so we can get it paid off. Again the customer rep asked if we were refusing to pay for the truck. It went on like this for 45 minutes before we just hung up.

We finally got a payoff agreement from them for $14,000 and it was paid to them on Sept.4 2004. We were suppose to get our clesr title in 30-45 days. I called after the 45 days and was told that we still owed almost $4000 on the truck. I was transfered many times to other reps and no one could tell me anything but I owed $4000 more and when would I be making a payment.

To make a long story short it is now Dec 8,2004 and we still have no clear title and it hasn't been repported to our credit report that we paid it off. They are hindering our credit. Our truck was never in repossession status, but they have not reported anything to the credit bureaus since June of 2004. They are giving us bad credit.

I have called this deceiteful company many times and get a different story every time. No one knows anything about anything in our account that should be closed. They keep telling me we'll recieve our title in 30 days. That 30 days never get here cuz we are still waiting and it has benn over 90 days since the pay off.

We are at a loss on how to resolve this. So I suggest to anyone who is thinking about financing anything thru this company that they look for other options because you are looking for a big headache with this company.

We are fighting a battle that has to end sometime but when and how.
