On 05/21/2006 I started a "pull ahead program" with GMAC. My previous lease was to expire and a "new" lease to start. I made the deal with the dealership and was told the next payment due date will be 06/21/2006.I drove off with my new truck. Made sense. Well, Gmac decided to pull another payment from my old lease out of my checking account via automatic draft on 06/02/2006.

On 06/05/2006 I started the calls into GMAC to have the mistake fixed. Wow! Every time you call you get some one different with no extension to contact them later.Mixed with the very long hold times and transfers to "some one else that could help." I finally reached a helpful person (Seeda.) Now GMAC informs me I will not be able to recieve my money back until they sell the old lease? Why? No one knows....

I have had no problems with GMAC lease in the past 6 years until now. I wonder if its make up time. Myself, like most Americans, cant soak up a extra $405.00 missing out of my account. I contacted by bank and they say I would have to fill out a aftadavid. They would handle it from there. Wow, customer sevice.

Includeing this contract I will have been with GMAC lease 10 years. I thought that would mean something. Nope. I will be contacting GMAC tomarrow 06/16/2006 to inform them that I will be filling a complaint with the FTC if I don't have a check by 07/02/2006.30 days from the original unauthorized withdraw.

I am happy to report that I got in touch with the right person at GMAC. The issue is now resolved. If any one else has a issue like this make sure you talk to a manager only.
