I acquired a auto loan through Household in early 2004. Due to a injury I fell behind and made my payment 17 days late. I was informed that I was being charged a late fee which was fine but they are charging more than what my contract states. Also they said I don't have a grace period and that my late charge accrues the first day after the due date. My contract states I have 15 days. I've tried several times for the past 3 months to get them to correct it but they won't. Please beware of Household Auto, they try to scam you anyway they can and think they can run over the consumer.
