HSBC Auto Finance Please take your auto financing needs elsewhere -- HSBC send thugs to your home at 3:00 am Baltimore Maryland

HSBC auto financing practices, policies and procedures really needs to be re-evaluated. I know we are all in an economy mess and I also know that we did not lend a helping hand in creating the mess. In the year, 2005, I agreed to accept an auto loan from HSBC. Despite the fact that I had good credit, HSBC still overcharged me on the financing. All payments for 3 years were made on time and I even paid more than the monthly balance to decrease the financing charges.

In mid-year 2008, HSBC, without any notification, sent thugs from Thug City to retrieve the vehicle at 3:00 a.m. Understandable, they did not want to work with me on a temporary payment plan until my finances got better. That's something I had to accept. I think it would have been common courtsey for HSBC to notify me in advance or just ring the doorbell that they were at my residence to pick-up the vehicle. These thugs come to my residence at approximately 3:00 a.m; brake the lock off the gated fence where the vehicle was parked; make a mess; retrieve the vehicle and leave the gates wide open as if it was a burglary.

I immediately contacted HSBC to try to retrieve personal items I left in the vehicle and they told me I would have to go 100 miles from my house, bring a $75.00 fee, etc. HSBC told me I would have to get to this location the best way I could and in addition, if I really wanted my belongings, bring the keys to the vehicle. Unbelieveable -- please take your auto financing needs elsewhere -- we don't need this type of getto service from anyone.
