This comanpy will not work with people who have suffered a cut in hours due to the economy. They keep threatening every few weeks that they will take my car for repossion.

I beleive that this company needs to take a look at the current economy and try to work with its costumers so that they may keep their vehicles and still be able to afford them.

Okay...

And just what do you want them to do?

Sad

AUTHOR: Marcia - Cleveland (U.S.A.)

While I feel bad for you, and everyone else who is suffering in this miserable economy, it is not the bank's responsibility to take care of customers when their income takes a hit. They're in business to make money. When the economy turns around we can take our business to places that treated us better in our times of need.

BTW... you haven't been ripped off, and the bank is FIFTH THIRD.

How is the bank ripping you off?

AUTHOR: Edgeman - Chico (U.S.A.)

If Fifth Third is talking about repossessing your car, then you are probably behind in your payments. The only thing that the bank wants is the money that you agreed to pay when you signed that loan agreement.

I do sympathize with your situation. I was unemployed for six months so I know how it feels to see your income drop during a tough economy. However, the state of the economy doesn't absolve you of your legally binding agreements.

This is serious. If you don't do something to correct this situation, you'll lose your car. The bank will sell it for whatever it can get and sue you for the difference. Your credit score will get a double whammy from losing the car and the judgment against you. You don't want to go down that road and be forced to finance cars at triple digit interest rates.

Is there any chance of picking up a part time job at a convenience store or a temp agency or even cleaning houses?
