affirmative insuance UNFAIR THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT THEY DON'T COVER YOU IN AN ACCIDENT.. Internet

Affirmative took our money during our policy period in 2006 now that were being sued 4 years later their stating our policy was canceld back in 2006 so they don't have to cover the property damage ... funny they said it was cancled after we faxed the lawsuit over and they said they issued a refund back in 2006 which we never recieved .. Here we are going to a hearing for an accident in which someone hit us and damaged a store and Affirmative took our money the entire period we though we had auto insurance now to find out we didn't apparently the best excuse they could come up with is the reason the policy was cancled is beacuse you had another person in your home.. WE did not we rented the home , the home was just in that persons name.. So i guess they can go around collecting payments but not cover you when your involved in an auto accident i mean they didmt mail us a refund or cancellation notice at all It's okay I hired an attorney and am awaiting Florida refunds to call me back to find out who cashed the refund check cause obviously Affirmative is as unprofessional as the agency who referred them .. Someone cancled our policy and backdated it to the begginning of it for no reason at the agency .I will never get a crap insurance carrier again Im sticking with the big dogs even if I have to pay more Im reporting Affirmative to the BBB
