AIG Auto Insurance Company - Illinois National & Travelers Of Florida Experts at ripoff tactics to keep from paying claims Tampa Florida

In June 2006 I was involved in an accident in Ocala FL. A man came across the median where I was attempting to make a left hand turn and rammed my van.

My granddaughter and I were wearing our seat belts and we were still thrown around and battered. The tie rods on my van were partially severed. I receive a ticket which accused me of coming out of a private driveway. I informed the Citizens Patrol B.Y Maurice that the Big Lots parking lot I was exiting had a State of Florida stop sign and that I was already in the median and waiting for my turn when Mr. Eugene Mease hit me.

She would not listen to me and was rude and overbearing so I just told her that I would be taking the ticket to court and it would be thrown out. I have driven for over 40 years and never had a ticket and never had an accident that was my fault.

I have driven in many major cities in this country and never had an accident or a ticket. So I downloaded all the laws that Mr. Mease had violated and also his driving record and lo and behold he had had the same type of accident the previous year and was charged in that one.

I went to court and as I told Ms. Maurice the ticket was thrown out. Although they tried to intimadate me in every way possible that was the end result.

I'm telling all of this because it makes what the two companies did totally incomprehensible. I retained a law firm because I was injured and I knew because of the circumstances surrounding this accident that there were going to be problems. I went through a year of rehab and did everything I was required to do.

In October I received a phone call from my caseworker and she told me that I had entered into an arbitration agreement with the Travelers Insurance Co's rep Danny Broussard and had agreed that this accident was 75 percent my fault.

I was not aware of any arbitration and only the rep from my insurance company was there supposedly on my behalf was
Jessica Leach who evidently didn't inform my attorney that there was to be an arbitration so I was totally thrown to the wolves which caused me to be dropped by my attorney because they thought I went behind their backs and made the agreement.

At this point in time both insurance companies have lied on an official statement and I am going to sue both. I am trying to find an attorney who has some backbone because I suspect total corruption has taken place in this matter and it goes far beyond my case.

I am going to ask for a complete investigation into this matter by the insurance commissioner's office and also the attorney general's office because there is obvious collusion between all parties to defraud. I hope this report will serve as a warning to other folks not to do business with these two companies.
