Allstate Insurance Co. (auto) rip off misled dirty SOB's Buffalo New York

I went into the office to make my payment for May and was told that I needed to make payments for March and April. I conveniently had the carbon of the check that I had written to cover those months dated "April 10th".

Upon further checking into their "not-so-up-to-date" system and finding no evidence of a returned check or "failure to pay" statements, the parent company or underwriters were called. After several minutes I was told that my insurance was cancelled on "April 24th". To this, of course, I was stunned and sat there in disbelief. I was told that a letter was sent but I don't remember receiving one.

Anyway, the notice of cancellation was dated "April 3rd", I was in the office on "April 10th" to make the payment and the cancellation was dated for "April 24th". Obviously, the morons that update the system must have been on vacation and the other circus animals don't know what to do as far as updating the system.

It should have been noted (in April) that there was a cancellation issued, I should have been notified when I came into the office one week later and none of this would be happening. Instead, I was told I have to pay 8$ a day for driving without insurance when all this could have been avoided. I hate those bastards. I was paying $172.00 a month, too.
