AT&T Wireless Misleading advertising for Roadside Assistance Program Little Rock, Arkansas
*Consumer Comment: Cell phone Roadside Assistance

AT&T Wireless Customer Service offers a Roadside Assistance plan to subscribers of their service for a fee. I have opted for this coverage twice based on their recommendations and their specific assurances that they include coverage for motorcycles.
This year I called them because of a mechanical breakdown while on a road trip. Customer service referred me to the Roadside Assistance Division who declined my request because "they don't cover motorcycles".
The company is taking money from the public through misrepresentation of services they will not provide.

I agree, though, on some of their advertising, it's just not very clear.

Thank you for this very useful information.
As a Roadside Assistance Provider for MOTORCYCLES, I have often suggested that clients look into Cellphone Provider Roadside Assistance for reimbursement, not having realized AT&T does NOT offer reimbursement after the tow and does NOT cover Motorcycles.
A few years ago while I was towing a motorcycle & rider, she call her cell phone provider to find out what was covered by their program, only to find out their provider would pay up to 5 miles of towing (better than nothing...) I wish I knew who her provider was to share with my future customers.
