Geico Never buy Geico insurance! Springfield Missouri

NEVER BUY GEICO INSURANCE! Last year my car (98 Ford Coutour) was hit by a driver who had Geico insurance. What a nightmare! I had the car towed to a body shop. The Geico adjuster asked me to take it to a "ma and pa" shop because he thought $60 per hour was too much to pay. After a lot of arguing, I flat refused. The car was repaired. When I went to take it for a test drive, it made quite a racket. I brought it back into the shop. The shop foreman said Geico would only authorize SALVAGE YARD PARTS for the car and they were defective. Also, the bumper that was damaged in the accident was not repaired. They had to order parts from another SALVAGE YARD. The parts were put in and still my bumper was not repaired. I came by to pick it up and the car pulled badly to the right. To let go of the steering wheel, it would almost throw you in the ditch. I brought it back. The shop foreman said it needed an alignment and the Geico adjuster refused to authorize it. I spoke with the adjuster which was probably the 5th time by now and he finally agreed to the alignment. When I asked about the bumper, he said the body shop charged too much. I told him to find one that would fix it and he refused. He told me to take $125 for the bumper and forget about it. That's just stupid! The alignment was done. I called the corporate office 3 different times and complained. Each time they sent me back to the adjuster who was a real jerk. The bumper was never fixed, I took the $125 because he simply wore me out. The moral to the story - NEVER BUY GEICO INSURANCE AND I HOPE YOU NEVER GET IN AN ACCIDENT BY A GEICO DRIVER!
