Safe Auto Insurance Company Deceptive Sale Practice Bait and Switch Columbus Ohio

I purchased a insurance policy with Safe Auto on 2/06. I was quoted a price of 265.00 for a six month's policy at 48.00 per month. this was because I was a good driver, and charged 20.00 none refundable fee.

they asked me questions about my household, at no time did I ever tell them my teenage daughter drove my car. in fact I specifically stated I would be the only driver as she did not have a license or permit to drive. they went ahead and added her anyway.

when I went to renew my policy my premiums doubled and I was told this was because the neighborhood filed a lot of frivioulous claims. I was also charged an extra 70.00 "fee" which they claimed was due to the fact I never mailed paperwork back stating my daughter would not be driving my car. this is the classic bait and switch of getting people to purchase their preimum for one price and then switching when it's time to renew. I am an excellent driver with no prior claims or tickets.
