Safe Auto Insurance Company Horrible business practices and difficult to get away! Columbus Ohio

I have had safe auto insurance for only two months. Although I paid my payments early, and went through their doctor clearance paperwork stating I'm fit to drive which they hounded me for constantly, their bills arrive as a notice of payment or notice of cancellation. Cancellation notice before the bill is even due? It bothered me alot. So I looked around and got a new policy elsewhere then called Safe Auto to cancel on the due date of my payment. Well, I was informed that if I cancel instead of letting it run out and they cancel me for non-payment, then I would be billed for a $25.00 cancellation charge!! Has anyone heard of such a thing?!?!

They are rude, hard to reach, and insultive in their business practices. And to top it all off, this so called cheap insurance, was more expensive than the policy I took out with a national company with a good reputation.

Don't do business with these people. It will leave a bad taste in your mouth!
