Safeway Insurance Company ripoff - Laurie Kuter Alpharetta Georgia

I am writing to follow up on all the comments I've been reading. I had an accident w/a Safeway insured vechile in Feb. 2004 - and posted at that point.

Since then, I have filed a claim in Magistrate Court against the non-licensed driver of the vehicle - which is about to be dismissed for want of prosecution because no one can find the girl - go figure, an illegal alien has disappeared from Atlanta?!!

I hired an attorney - who informs me that we can not file anything against Safeway since they didn't cause my bodily injuries (but what about the fact that a vehicle they insured did cause said injuries!!???)

Luckily for me, I am insured with State Farm, so they subrogated, and got the car repairs paid for as well as my deductible. However, I am still out over $800 for the rental car, not to mention my $1200 in medical bills, pain & suffering. How can Safeway get away with this?
