My vehicle was involved in an accident in which two vehicles collided in an intersection. The police responded, cited the other driver for failure to yield the right of way and also for failure to be a licensed driver! Safeway Insurance had coverage on the at fault vehicle, but denied paying for any damages based on "their finding" . In talking to other insurance agents and adjusters, I find that this is common practice for this company. Something should be done about this kind of system abuse!

Sue.

I had a similar problem decades ago with the Kemper Insurance Group.

SUE the person who was driving the vehicle and/or sue the owner of the vehicle that allowed an unlicensed person to drive the vehicle.

Once the owner/insured is served with a court summons, watch how fast the insurance company contacts you to settle.

This works every time.

Good luck.
