Al's Tinting, Inc. (aka) Al Tod Wrong tint (illegal film) installation ripoff Aiea Hawaii

I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with Al's Tinting. I have found the company and the owner Al to be most professional and always offered our company quality work. We have used them often on our home properties for window tinting and artwork. Our businesses window tinting and artwork. And, also on numerous vehicles. We have never not been given a receipt for the work done.

It's unfortunate that at the time of your purchase a reciept was not given. This is most important whenever you make a large purchase either on a service or product. As, far as the illegal tint The receipt would have protected you from this matter.

Knowing Al and the company, I honesty have to say they would have been willing to work things out for you if this transaction ever happened as it should have. Once again a record or receipt would verify your tint percentage and your service. I've been completely satisfied with Al's Tinting...in the same satisfactory when working/using TNT (Tommy) both great companies to work with.

I would recommend both companies as the BEST in Hawaii for Home, Commercial and Auto tinting. :0)

I had tint guys at my shops. The only time someone got no reciept was when the customer wanted illegal tint applied to their windows. The customers were always informed of this, and none of them ever complained...until the cops pulled them over, or they went through inspection.

You were also told about this issue when your windows were tinted. NOW, you complain.

BTW, the tint on my cars is 20%...illegal in most states. On a black car with a dark interior, the windows appear to be blacked out. I have never been bothered by cops on them though. Why? Could it possibly be because I do not attract their attention with my driving style?

I have gone to Al's many times and have ALWAYS had awesome service and pricing.  I know for a fact that they would not put tint on your car that you didn't ask for.  In fact, he went over everything with me BEFORE and AFTER the car was tinted.  If you didn't get a receipt it's probably because you did a deal where you got a cheaper price because you did it as a cash sale.  I don't know why you would post this because it just doesn't make sense.  Why would he put on tint that you didn't ask for?  Especially since darker tint costs more money!

Amazing that there is no record of you or your name or your car or license plate at Al's Tinting. Filing a complaint is malicious only when there is no substantiative proof of your alleged scenario. This is clearly the case here. How about dates, specific names, the police incident report......yet nothing.

Amazing how you cannot produce any receipts. Further amazing that you mention T and T Tinting as your saving Grace company. Seems to me that you're doing this specifically to market T and T.

You stated in your alleged Rip Off Report filing:

"Later I went to T&T Tinting Specialists and they did an awesome and perfect job with my ride! Their prices are reasonable and everyone stay cool".

It's obvious that your letter is fueled by much more than a simple complaint. if people in this industry and the innocent consumer cannot or refuse to see the actual purpose of your "complaint", then perhaps it makes no difference to anyone involved.

In closing, my opinion...Seems to me like someone with direct interests to T and T Tinting simply descied to "fabricate" a false report for the sake of unhealthy business competition purposes. 

As I stated, read the entire "RIP OFF report". Reads more like a low class advertisement than an actual complaint filing.

Pathetic.

 Al's Tinting has only done beautiful tint jobs on all of my cars and all my friends cars (Nice cars).  The staff is very experienced and skilled in what they do.  Also, Al has always been upfront about situations involving what films to choose from, and how it will effect light and heat entering your car. He gives you what you ask for. 

This ripoff report is very surprising and does not resemble anything I have ever thought to represent Al's Tinting.  There is always a couple rotten eggs out there angry at the world and trying to bring people down with them.
