I went to the web page https://www.petrider.com and started
the order process. First you have to indicate "How many sets would you
like today?" then "Please enter your credit card information
below". It takes you to various pages where you can choose to upgrade
to the "Deluxe Pet Rider" etc.
But I decided against ordering, and closed the page without finalizing
the order. Within a few minutes, I received an e-mail from noreply@petridersale.com
- Thank you for your order! - Order Total: $66.94
I immediately phoned Telebrands Customer Care - 1-800-777-4034 telling
them what happened. They told me to phone after 24 hours of placing the order
because they cannot help me. I was charged $66.94 the very next business day.
When phoning again they were willing to refund me $59.95, still charging
me for shipping & handling. After raising my voice, threating to report
them etc. they promised to refund me in full and I can keep the product. This
remains to be seen.
I order quite often online but never did I experience this. How many
people are getting caught, keeps quiet and just pay-up? This company should be
dealt with.
