"Like Tammy, I found this
website
through Google. I have been to Dirty Car several times and never had a
bad experience. Sounds like 'Dirtycarscrewedme' is only interested in
seeing his name in print because he likes to complain, but when the
OWNER offers to make it right, he backs off.
Sure seems like he's afraid to be caught in a lie if he takes Tammy up on her offer.
I'm planning on going to Dirty Car tomorrow to get my car washed and detailed. Hope too see you there, 'screwed'!"
Dear "Satisfied Customer"
I believe that just about ANYONE out there who comes across my complaint and reads the responses by Tammy and then the other "customers" will see what is so obvious to me.
1. Peters response was posted on the SAME DAY as "Tammys" second response. Curious that on the internet which is home to billions of websites.. Someone named "peter" just happened to be cruising "ripoffreport.com" and just happened to be a customer of "dirtycar" and just HAPPENED To post what amounts to a personal attack on ME which was full of speculation rather than defending dirty car based on it's merits.
Little fishy don't ya think???
2. "Satisfied customers" "response" was supposed just a bit more based in fact since she claimed to be a customer, but still the personal attacks?
Usually when a person can't defend them selves based on the facts they resort to personal attacks.
Her contention that, "he's afraid to be caught in a lie if he takes Tammy up on her offer" is about as ludicrous a statement as a person can make.
IF I DID take my car to "DIRTY CAR" car wash AFTER THE FACT of COURSE THEY would do it right! Who wouldn't???? That would no more make my initial claim of shoddy service a lie than "Satisfied Customers" post would make her an ACTUAL CUSTOMER!
That having been said, I have not once attacked "tammy" personally and will not do so. Tammy did not perform the "service" on my car and even if she did, my complaint is with the COMPANY and the fact that the "detail" service was shoddy at best.
Now perhaps Tammy was not there that day perhaps she was, perhaps the kids who actually performed the work got lazy and thought they would "slip one by".
At this point I don't care. It has been quite some time ago and I have happily washed and detailed my car myself and will continue to do so. I am not obligated in any way to return to "Dirty Car" and my failure to do so does NOT change the fact that what happened HAPPENED.
Unfortunately for "Tammy" and the rest of the "Dirty Car" management
team. These forums allow customers of establishments who provide shoddy
service to share his or her experience with OTHER potential customers with out having to go through them (the management of the offending establishment) to do so. AND IT SCARES THEM!
I suspect that "peter" and "Satisfied Customer" and other new "customers" will continue to try and create an environment of mistrust in regards to my claim that -at least in this particular case...-DIRTY CAR SCREWED ME! And that is fine.
I think anyone who has even the slightest bit of intelligence can see right through what they are attempting to do.
I am content to have learned my lesson and drop this whole thing.
The personal attacks are silly childish attempts at drawing potential customers attention away from the facts or in other words to SPIN the situation to their benefit.
Sadly, it is a thinly veiled attempt which is easily identified by simply asking ones self the following question....
"How often does a satisfied customer of ANY establishment get so angry as to attack another customer personally for having waged a complaint?"
Again, anyone with a lick of sense knows the answer to that question is RARELY, if EVER! Usually satisfied customers DON'T spend their time looking online for venues to defend their favorite establishments as they have performed their transaction, were satisfied and have moved on with their lives!!!
