In a thorough search of our meticulously maintained ACT database, there is no record of the service of a High Speed Buffing being performed on a "John" or any variation of that name. Furthermore, I researched that service history for 2005, 2006 and 2007. As the only person for Dtailz that performs that service, I am intimate with the client's vehicles and there is NO vehicle that that service on was less than "Perfection" when completed.
As that particular service cost $500 to $700, I am sure if you were not satisfied, you would have brought it to our attention. That coupled with the fact that we carry a 3 million dollar ($3,000,000.00) insurance policy, I'm SURE you would have brought it to Dtailz attention. I can only conclude you have us confused with another detail company as there are many in the area and two on Rocky Point Drive. I respectfully request you contact me, Michael Sutherland @ or business line on either your compliant or the intention to remove this slanderous accusation. If you choose to do neither, please let this serve as my intention to file civil damages against you for slander when, and if, your identity becomes apparent.
Yes, as we have a comprehensive history database, are licensed in Tampa and Hillsborough, certified by the E.P.C., we have an attorney. If you're mistaken in the identity of whom, if anybody, damaged your car, all is forgiven. Just correct this. If it is anything other, then it is malicious and Il take this as an attack against our credibility. Let this serve as notice of intent to pursue according to FL. 770.01 Notice condition precedent to action or prosecution for libel or slander.--Before any civil action is brought for publication or broadcast, in a newspaper, periodical, or other medium, of a libel or slander, the plaintiff shall, at least 5 days before instituting such action, serve notice in writing on the defendant, specifying the article or broadcast and the statements therein which he or she alleges to be false and defamatory.
