House of Stone and Tile Totallly Ripped Off By David and Sylvia Watauga, Texas

The House of Stone and Tile in Watauga is really bad.  They take your money and then do not provide a service.  I started placing tile and wood floors in my home in August 2011 and it is still not completed.  I contacted both David and Sylvia on 1 november as to why they had not completed my floor.  David and Sylvia stated that if the floor was not finished by 9 November, they would return my $2500. that I paid them upfront to put in a wood floor.  Well guess what, it is December 20, 2011 and they have not installed the floor or returned my money like they promised.  I finally had to order the wood from California since David stated he did not have the money to pay for it.  Upon arriving, I called David to let him know it was in and they did not send anyone to install it.  I had to hire another company to install the floor and pay out of my pocket for all expenses.  David and Sylvia do not keep their word.  They spend your money and constantly make excuses why they cannot do a job.  They do not call you back and they hide from you.  They say they are a family business, but the truth be known, a family rip off company.  They have had 5 months to take care of this contract, and they both violated it.  David said at the first, "if you don't like my work, you do not have to pay for it".  Well, I pointed out problems with his work and requested my money back and all he does is hide.  If you don't believe this statement, I have pictures, receipts, copies of checks, copies of invoices where I ordered the wood, and receipts where I had to pay others to do the work.  Do Not Use this company.  They cannot keep a contract or their word.
