John Lopez, Juan Lopez Jr., Quality Tile Installation Local Contractor reneges on contract, steals cash San Antonio Texas

In December, John Lopez, private contractor submitted an estimate to tile my guest and master bathrooms. After agreeing to the terms of the estimate & identifying tile style & size, he indicated he would be working with Daltile on Arion Parkway to order the materials (approx 77 sq. ft).

He asked that I issue a check for materials in the amount of $325.00 and since he came recommended by his family, I agreed. Mr. Lopez issued a receipt and install date was established shortly after. After two delays on the install, for order mix-up and due to illness, the final install date was established for early January.

Mr. John Lopez did not show up on scheduled date nor contact me for reschedule. Repeated attempts to contact him through his cell phone, home phone and via Daltile have gone un-answered. I have not received tile materials that were paid for nor check reimbursing me for original charge. My check was promptly cashed on the day that it was issued.
