As of 7-31-2009 Precision Flooring of SW Florida has been dissolved. The company owner has retired and moved on. We want to thank the thousands of satisfied customers during our time in business. Always remember when searching these sites that anyone can say anything without proof or liability. These negative feeds can be from ex wives, former friends, or anyone wishing harm on a person or business. Why dont they leave a way to contact or address? Anyone in business knows you cannot keep eveyone satisfied. It is based on satisfaction survey. 4 complaints out of 2600 customers is a 99.999% satisfaction ratio. Damn good. look at Home depot on rip off report. they have thousands of unhappy customers and still thrive in business. People are mean and deceiptful and if they do not get there way.....well.... just lie. Over the years in business we were happy with our satisfaction ratio. again, thank you to all of the satisfied customers, and remember, dont believe everything you read!!

I hired Precision Flooring to do a flooring job in my office here in Port Charlotte. Although the work to longer to complete and the overall job was done well, once final payment was in the hands of Precision Flooring, all return phone calls were ignored.  Now, their web site is down and the phone numbers provided have funny responses.

I wrote two checks to Precision Flooring well after their so-called date of dissolution.  If they in fact did close up as of 7-31-09, why were they still accepting business orders? My last check to Precision Flooring was deposited 9-2-09.

All I wanted was for them to come back and correct a couple of small issues, but I guess they have chosen the low road, failed to return calls and complete repairs, and high tail it out of town.  Disappointing, as Doug touted how he is such an upstanding member of the community if Ft. Myers and throws out mentions of his wife as a detective with the Lee County Sheriffs office. Perhaps that was BS as well.

IF YOU HAVE NOTICED. THAT PRECISION FLOORING WAS IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND HAVE THOUSANDS OF SATISFIED CUSTOMERS. IT IS A SHAME THAT 2 OR 3 CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE TRIED TO SCAM AND BULLY THEIR WAY (LIKE MAKING FALSE ACCUSATIONS ON WEBSITES) CAN SWAY A FUTURE CUSTOMER IN THEIR DECISION TO USE THAT COMPANY. WHY, IF THEY DID WRONG WERE THEY NOT SUED AND HELD ACCOUNTABLE? WHY IS THERE NO RECORDS OF COMPLAINTS IN THE COURTS OR LAW ENFORCEMENT SYSTEMS?   HOME DEPOT AND LOWES HAVE THOUSANDS Of COMPLAINTS ON RIPOFF REPORT. WHY DO YOU STILL SHOP THERE?  DO NOT LET A FEW SCAMMING  CUSTOMERS SCARE YOU FROM ANY BUSINESS.  AS EVERBODY KNOWS. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP 100% OF PEOPLE HAPPY. WITH THESE BOGUS COMPLAINTS. PRECISION FLOORING STILL HAD A 99.9999% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RATE. THAT IS PERFECT IN MY BOOK. DOUG RAN THIS BUSINESS VERY WELL AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR EVERYBODY! SOME PEOPLE CANNOT BE SATISFIED AT ANY COST! THIS WEBSITE IS A FARCE!!! IT ALLOWS PEOPLE TO POST ANYTHING THEY WANT ABOUT INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESS' WITHOUT PROOF,   VALIDITY, OR MERIT. THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED ON PROOF BEFORE GUILT, NOT RUMOR PRINT PROPAGANDA.  ANYONE CAN MAKE UP STORIES TO MAKE SOMEONE LOOK BAD. HAVING PROOF IS A DIFFERENT STORY. HOW DO WE KNOW THAT FORMER FRIENDS, ANGRY NEIGHBORS, VENDICATIVE EX'S. WHO KNOWS WHO PRINTS THESE LIES. THEY WILL NOT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES  WITH ADDRESSES OR PHONE NUMBERS!!!......................WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS, CHECK COURT SYSTEMS AND ASK ANY COMPANY FOR REFERENCES ( DEMAND QUITE A FEW) AND TRY TO SEE WORK THEY HAVE PERFORMED AND SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS AND GET THE REAL STORY!                     WE CANT SATISFY EVERYONE...BUT  99.999% IS DAMN GOOD

This is not a false claim. Doug told me numerous times he would be back to finish my floor but never showed up. Lumber liquidators told me he did not show that he was doing my floor through them as required by his contract with them. So because of that, they did not show me as a customer to insure his work. Why am I at fault here. The store manager at Lumber Liquidators felt bad (because I was not the only customer he did this to) and sent another contractor out to finish the job. That contractor told me he would not do it for free because there were more problems than he was told and it was not as simple as he thought. I just wanted my floors done as promised. They are still not done and of course my warranty is up (but was not all the times I tried to reach him). I liked Doug and trusted him and he did not do what he promised. Maybe most of his customers were happy but I am not one of them. This not a false claim. It would have been so simple to finish the job and make me a happy customer. I am not someone that is hard to please. I just wanted the job completed as promised.
