Shaw Industries Declined Martha Stewart branded carpet 30yr warranty on 6 month old carpet! Dalton, Georgia

Purchased Shaw's Home Depot Martha Stewart top of the line carpet with 30yr wear warranty and best pad. After 6 months we noticed in the walking areas the carpet was matting and separating into rows almost like tiger stripes. We contacted Home Depot and supplied photos and they couldn't believe what they seen and said it's definitely a manufacture issue and they would summit the warranty claim, that's when the fun begins!

Shaw sent out an inspector that spent 30 minutes looking for every reason to deny the claim and twenty minutes of his time was looking at our new vacuum, oh and I forgot to mention he wouldn't talk to us or comment. Three weeks later we got what we expected, the denial letter and reason.

To our surprise we don't vacuum our carpet two times a day like we are supposed to and everyone else does also after vacuuming we would need to get a special rake for the carpet to lift the fibers up! The next statement was after we do this it will most likely do it again. Hello!

This carpet is installed in our basement with little traffic and is vacuumed twice a week which I felt was a little excessive, but we like our house clean. Who would have guest we needed to vacuum an additional 12 times per week and also buy a carpet rake.
