Chris Williams-Sonic Cash Net Bank, Sonic cash net scam- Chris Williams Irvine California

Revieved a call from a Chris Williams-legal representative for Sonic CashnetBank stating I owed an internet loan of $700.00 from 2006 that could be paid off by an EFT of $375.00 today by 3 PM. This person has a very heavy Indian accent with alot of background noise and other people talking in the background.

Asked for more details such as site name, account number, date of tansaction etc. which he could not provide. Asked to speak to another person prefer his supervisor, claimed he was not allowed. Threaten that if I did not pay by 3 PM today huge fees would be incurred, (up to $5000.00 plus attorney fees) my employer would take action against me, and I could/would be arrested for internet bank fraud.

Asked why they did not inform of such prior to this and he informed that they had sent several e-mails via the internet. Ask to verfiy that e-mail address and he came up with one close but not exact. Ddi not have home phone munber but did have my business line # and cell. Also had the alst 4 digits of my SSN, and my bank account #. Also knew of my sister and brother and close friend.

Filing a report with the local police. Changing bank accounts, etc.
