Pay Pal States you can send money instantly but in an emergency it takes 3 to 4 days to be recieved. San Jose California

I sent money to my son for an emergency thru Pay Pal's send money feature that claims that anyone with an e-mail address will recieve instantly. Well that is a lie because my son was told that he would recieve the money in 3 to 4 days. That does nothing to help with the emergency today. The money was taken out of my account in minutes but it takes 3 to 4 days to get it to his bank???? Somethings not right about this and I want to know where my money for those three days. I sent money to help my son not pay pals cash flow. I can no longer feel confident that pay pal is on the up & up and am going to change all my accounts tomorrow to another bank. If they will lie to you then they are not to be trusted in my book. I posted this in hope that it will keep someone from dealing with the hardship that my son is dealing with now thanks to Pay Pal.

And they actually deliver... between PayPal accounts. They do not promise instant transfer between a PayPal account and a bank account.
To get money from an instant transfer right away, the recipient uses the PayPal debit card ant any ATM machine to withdraw the money. They can initiate a transfer to their checking account, but that is not instantaneous.
If you wish to close your checking accounts, that is up to you. It is an extreme response though. PayPal did nothing wrong here.
Hopefully your son will be okay.
