Same as all the others......received a letter and a check for $4890 telling me I had won the shopper's sweepstakes on Oct. 5th. Call this number 905-598-5656 and get instructions before I deposit the check. supposedly the check is an advance on my winnings to pay the taxes of $2985. I was too afraid to even call the number because I was worried it was one of those numbers you call and they charge your phone like $985/ minute. Thank goodness we have the internet. The only thing that came up when I ran their name through Google was this website. I kind of want to see what happens if I just deposit the check in my account but someone told me that they might be able to trace their $4890 check back to my account and then access it to withdraw funds. Anybody know if that is true?
Too bad they have to prey on people going through hard times. I woulda been happy with just the $4890 but they had me dreaming about $250,000! I already had it all spent before my husband came home and snapped me back to reality!

Jessica-
If you deposit this check, it is a scam, and you will be charged by your bank for a " invalid check " fee, not to mention that you will have to pay back all the $$$ to your bank, plus you may be charged by the police dept for trying to pass an invalid check----don't do it!!!!!!!
