I received a letter with a fraudlent check in the amount of $3,875.00 (USD). The letter instructed me to call a "well trained Claims Analyst" who would be "responsible in processing your winning and also to answer all your questions". The check was supposed to be to pay taxes on a $125,000.00 (USD) sweepstakes prize I had won.

The "Claims Analyst" encouraged me to check out the company at www.betterbusinessbereau.com, however that site is associated with Secured Financial Award Inc. The spelling of bureau in this site is incorrect. The actual site of the Better Business Bureau is www.bbb.com.

I did a "Google" search on Secured Financial Award Inc. and found other reports of this scam.
