Last night I received in the mail a Collection Notice from Afni, Inc. stating that I owe $200.00 to T-Mobile so I had my wife call them this morning telling them that we have never had T-Mobile. They told me that we had been getting bills at our home address for 4 years and we told them that we had never received anything at all from T-Mobile and that this is not owed by us. They told me it was too ours and my wife told them that if they did not take this off that we would be contacting authorities on this.
She also asked for a copy of the contract from this and was told that they did not have one there. She told them that they had better drop this or they would be hearing from someone in higher status from us. How can this Company keep scamming people and get away with this.
I am going to run reports on my credit and see what comes up on them to see where they stand. We have always had excellent credit and hope it doesn't get messed up from this scam with this Company. Hope this is the end of this Company forever.

Dear Chuck
I'm so sorry to hear what has happened to you! I have heard your story before, from others this has happened to. I'm glad to hear you are going to file a request to get credit reports make sure you get from all 3 major bureaus. Please call T-Mobile @ 1-800-937-8997 and explain your situation to a representative. T-Mobile will assist you with this frustrating situation. T-Mobile gets so much of these terrible cases of fraud they have a department dedicated to investigating and resolving the issues. The person who used your identity is the person who is ripping you off and who needs to be held accountable, which is why you must call T-Mobile & they will take care of this for you. This is going to be your fastest path to a resolution.

STOP BEING IDIOTS! LEARN YOUR RIGHTS - DO THE RESEARCH
www.ftc.gov Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - This law is here to PROTECT YOU!
RESEARCH THESE THINGS ON THE INTERNET - DON'T JUST GO TO A COMPLAINT BOARD AND POST YOUR COMPLAINT!
Their only interest in collecting a debt, and AFNI goes after everyone with the same name.
www.budhibbs.com - READ UP ON THIS BOTTOMFEEDER!
The only response to a collection letter is responding in writing with DEBT VALIDATION DEMAND AND CEASE COMMUNICATIONS LETTER. Sent certified mail return receipt.
The collection agency is required by law to provide PROVE that the account is actually yours. They cannot just send a form letter and expect you to pay.
Validation is copy of the Original contract with your signature. They cannot provide it. Because they never get that in the first place
So they have to stop all collection attempts immediately.
DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
