I missed a call from an 800 # and they left a voice-mail.  Not 5 minutes later, I tried to check the voice-mail and it wouldn't go through.  I call 611 and spoke with a representative.  She said that my service was "suspended" due to high volume ??????  I explained to her that I had had my service for 2-1/2 yrs. without interruption and that my current bill wasn't due for 2 weeks.  She apologized and said it was being "looked into" !!!!  What ?????

I canceled my service.

Report Short of Information

AUTHOR: anonymous - Bend (United States of America)

Im curious about your situation. What rate plan were you on? Was it unlimited? Even if you were on unlimited, if you took too much advantage of that, that's what the rep was referring to about "high volume". It has nothing whatsoever to do with how long you've had the service or anything about your bill due date. There is such a thing as "too much usage" and you're taking the service for granted, especially if it was high volume on other carriers towers. We allow you to use your phone anywhere and do not pass on roaming charges, as do other providers, but it sounds like this is something you made a habit of, using your phone on other carriers towers. We were only getting a small monthly amount from you, but you have no idea the cost we take on just so you can use your phone anywhere you want. We cushion that for you, but its not to be taken advantage of. That's all I have to say.
