AT&T lied and claims they charge $2 a day. The first day I used it they said, oh you received a 3 minute phone call, that will be $8 please... oh now you are out of money. When you call 611 or their 800 number you end up in voice mail hell, nobody will talk to you. These guys are lying scammers, avoid AT&T at all costs. This is their Go Phone product. I have a place AT&T can Go, and it starts with H. I spent $10 on the card and charged it up another (minimum) $15. Used it one day and threw it out. Won't give them another penny. Instead I got a card from T-Mobile which works much better and doesn't steal from you. Unfortunately, AT&T is buying T-Mobile so then we'll all be up the creek.

$2 a day

AUTHOR: dada - St. louis (USA)

If you were charged $8.00 for a three minute call while on the $2 a day plan, you either called someone internationally (not covered in unlimited talk and text) or you called an 800 number that would transfer you to a 900 number.

Calling the 800# for customer does not put you to voicemail. They don't have a voicemail. I call that number when I need help and as long as there is not a lot of background noise messing up the automated voice system, I get through just fine.

If you were on the $2 a day plan, you would be able to talk (domestic) and text (domestic and 100 countries) all day long. If you used all your money, you must have accessed data, purchased ringtones, called 411 or used the balance for any other thing that is not covered under the $2 a day plan.

What I wonder is, why don't people learn the product they are using and when they don't, they blame everyone else for thier ignorance?
