My frustration with Boost is at an all time high. Their "customer care" department is inefficient and ineffective. The representatives are intentionally vague, unresponsive, and pre-programmed with a singular company policy for every situation - NO REFUNDS EVER.
You will be on hold for 15 minutes before your call is taken by a person who has been trained to: 1) NOT provide any information; and 2) NOT given the authority to resolve your problem. They are hoping you will get frustrated and hang up.
If you persevere thru the static/hold music, you will then repeatedly be told "hold on, one second please, bringing up your account."
I am out $85. I have been a customer since 2003 and have re-boosted my account every 3 months, without fail. During the 2007 San Diego Wildfires, emergency services requested we turn cell phones off, I did. We had to stay home and be ready to evacuate anyway.
During that week my minutes expired. I did not receive the standard reminder recording to re-boost soon (as I have for the last 4 years). One rep let it slip that the reminder service was being updated and currently not in service. I understand the prepay contract, but an exception due to the unusual circumstances would have been appreciated.
Boost would rather lose a customer, then refund ANY money EVER.
I really regret cooperating with their phone survey that they did about 3 months ago, I now believe that the information I provided to Boost in that survey put me on the list to be eliminated from their service (as in, I don't spend enough money with them).
There is NO "care" in Boost's "customer care". Well they can have my $85, but they will never get another penny from me. I am going to try going cell-less for a while - getting back to simplicity in life.
The most annoying thing was dealing with a company that has made itself unreachable. Boost hides behind off-site boiler-room employees who take all the grief for Boost's single minded short term goal of MAKE US MONEY!.

I work at Accent, which is the customer care company Boost hired out to take its calls. Now, I certainly believe that your situation may have been unfair. However, you did know that your phone's balance would return to zero if not reboosted for 90 days, so it might have been prudent to check on that, yourself. Boost cannot be held responsible for your lack of initiative, I'm sorry to say. The computer follows policy to the letter, assuming everything is in working order, and if we see that there has been a glitch somewhere, then, yes, we will refund money. I refunded a couple hundred dollars total just this past weekend, in fact, so it's a bit of an exaggeration to say that we are quite that stingy. Oh, Boost is certainly in it to make a profit and will not give up their money so easily, but as much as you may think so, we are not trying to cheat you.

Please excuse my English.
I was customer for 3 wees, I was innocent and believe in their coverage map, What mistake, that is totally false, thei say in my area the signal is good, and the true I get just 1 or 0 signal lines, (What I get in fair areas?).
I made a complaint the first day of poor service, just 15 minutes after activate my 2 lines, and the lies start.
Temporally problem.
Phone problem.
9 broken antennas in my area
Reboot the phone.
Not nice customer service.
after 3 week of lies, they say was my problem because I answer some of the call.
Good thing I did not buy the phones to boost mobile ( they never give money back), I returned to best buy, but boost mobile still $103 for activation fees for poor service from the fist day.
