I saw an advertisement ON TV for Unlimited calling for only $25 per month. Of course this was for Local calls only and with automatic monthly bill pay. However, the dirty lying SOB at Protel Wireless Inc 7737 Cox Ln
West Chester, OH 45069 (513) 779-9473 told me that I could also have unlimited long distance for only $5 more for a total of $30/month. Since the first month's service was supposed to be free, he put all the extra bells & whistles on my account and said to simply remove them when I go to pay my first bill.
I now get my first bill for $55/month, but there is no way for me to remove all the extra features on their web site. When I call Cricket, they tell me that it will cost me $15 to change to a different plan without all the extra features and my monthly fee will be over $40/month to have the long distance. Neither Cricket, nor their lying dealership will do anything about it and the lying SOB that sold me the plan is no longer employed there.
I just want them to refund the cost of my phone only and take the piece of shit back. I just want to go back to using my NET 10 prepaid phone which was fine with me to start with and had NO surprises or deceptive charges.
Go ahead and call Protel Wireless at (513) 779-9473 and tell them what you think about their lying, cheating sales tactics.

I'm sorry, but in this case it sounds like it was NOT Cricket who ripped you off. it was the employee at Protel Wireless. I'm not sure of the current promotions that Cricket is running regarding their service plans. However, I DO know that whenever they DO run them, they are CLEARLY posted. If the salesman told you about a plan that didn't exist, then that's the fault of the salesman, not Cricket. Also, HE gave you the different rate plan, NOT Cricket. Therefore, you're blaming the wrong party here.

they offer a great package for under 50 a month. whatever you got for 25 a month is just that i mean everyone else is chargeing 50 to 100 for minutes eevry month i have had every cell company in cincinnati and couldnt afford it verizon ran upto 1200 in a month. 50 maybe too much for you but if it is maybe you should stick to a home phone. If you think for a sec about it your home phone is around 40 a month and most dont even got unlimited long distance with cricket u pay 10 more to get it and you can drop your home phone all togather so is it worth 10 dollars a month to have a phone for "anywhere" you go never missing a call. OF CORSE it is.Try to find another company thatll give you that. If it was 100 a month yould still be in great shape. I have had them for 3 yrs and i have 7 phones with them. Rated A++

This store has taken new ownership as of 06/01/2009. The store and employees has changed 100%. They have a lot more to offer and go out of their way to make sure the customer understands everything! Cricket has many new Unlimited plans available including Wireless Broadband for Internet.
